Hosta 'Skyfall'

[M]  Hosta 'Skyfall' immediately captures attention in the garden with its intense color, but then the elegant, arching mound form draws you in deeper. Dan Wols knew exactly what he wanted from this complex cross involving his hit creation 'Skywriter'. Broad, heavy leaves feature a rich blue color with gentle waves extending along the leaf margins.  Each leaf ends in delicate, nodding tip. What really sets this selection apart is its remarkably long-lasting waxy coating, which holds up against the heat of summer to stay powder-blue right up until the first hard freeze at the end of the season. If you're tired of blue hostas that don't look blue for very long, Hosta 'Skyfall' is the answer.
