Hosta 'Sugar Plum'
[M] The name may bring to mind dreams of sweet candy made of dried fruit, but this hosta hybrid out of 'One Man's Treasure' cooked up by master hosta chef Bob Solberg is anything but a mystical vision...this is the real deal! The glossy green leaves are sleek and smooth, with gently undulating margins that are uniformly rolled under for a distinct look. White backed foliage is held in a regal, upright clump atop deep plum colored petioles that bleed color right into the back side of each leaf. Hosta 'Sugar Plum' grows into a mound about 20" high and 30" across that really flaunts its dark legs. Dark scapes hold very fertile flowers in late summer.
