Hosta 'The Unforgettable Fire'

[M]  This blazing tetraploid sport of 'Fire Dance' from Belgian collector and hybridizer Danny Van Eechaute is set to ignite a hot sensation in the hosta world! Hosta 'The Unforgettable Fire' sparks instant excitement the moment its fiery silhouette emerges in the spring.

The broad, glossy green leaves possess remarkably thick, durable substance that holds up nicely through the summer. Lively ruffles sweep upward along the leaf margins into dramatically long tips, twisting and curling like lashing flames leaping from a blazing campfire. Supported by saturated, deep red petioles that bring an ember-like glow under the plant, Hosta 'The Unforgettable Fire' puts on a scorching show! In late summer, red scapes hold fertile flowers that are dramatically larger than those of its parent, adding even more sparks to the show.
