Hosta 'Valley's Himitsu'
[VL] Jeroen Linneman is a big fan of using Hosta pycnophylla in his hybridizing, and he has super sized all of its best features with this cross of a pycnophylla seedling x 'Empress Wu'. 'Valley's Himitsu' has huge leaves that can reach at least 19" long. They are chartreuse with a milky wax coating, deeply veined, and ringed with lots of ruffles. Himitsu means secret in Japanese, and this giant is full of beautiful secrets! Give Hosta 'Valley's Himitsu' plenty of space to spread its large, flowing foliage, and maybe a little sun to bring out more yellow later in the summer.
Plants are small.
