Hosta 'Valley's Red Scorpion'

[M-L] Like a fierce scorpion, this stately hybrid from Jeroen Linneman stands tall on long red legs, poised to strike! Glossy, deep green leaves are infused with a substantial dose of red through the base of the leaf and well into the veins. 'Valley's Red Scorpion' grows quickly into a regal, vase shaped clump that shows off the long, deep red petioles perfectly. Foliage is of good substance and nicely ruffled, forming a mound about 28" tall and at least 35" across. Hosta 'Valley's Red Scorpion' blooms with fertile, lavender flowers in late summer.
