Hosta 'Zucchini Fries'

[S] A new introduction from Rick Goodenough that will hit the spot, if you're hungry for something new! 'Zucchini Fries' is a cross of 'Curly Fries' x 'Mr Black' that shows flashes of purple on the back of newly emerging leaves. The long, narrow, heavily ruffled leaves resemble those of 'Curly Fries', except they are blue-green in color. Petioles, scapes, and seed pods are all smoky-purple. Hosta 'Zucchini Fries' quickly forms a symmetrical mound about 12" tall and 18" across. Flowers are fertile, and 'Zucchini Fries' has proven to be a worthwhile parent.
