Large flowers and pastel coloration are the highlights of this Japanese Iris. Iris ensata 'Pinkerton' blooms profusely in early summer with flat, soft pink flowers to 7 inches across. The huge flowers are held above narrow, grass-like foliage. Japanese Iris prefer consistently moist soil and thrive along the edge of a pond. Iris ensata 'Pinkerton' is a vigorous grower that deer and rabbits avoid.
