A compact Siberian Iris with an intricately colored flower. Iris sibirica 'Purring Tiger' may be cute as a kitten, but the 18" tall clump of grassy foliage roars to life in early summer with dark lavender flowers above golden yellow falls that are boldly veined in purple. The bicolor flowers are quite distinct among Siberian Iris. Thrives at waters edge, but does well in average garden conditions, too. Deer and rabbit resistant.
